Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

The first grade classes at a new primary center are in desperate need of photo libraries. The gross majority of our students are second language learners and need the visual support for new English vocabulary acquisition. Since our school is brand new this year, data of our student population is not published. Therefore, we do not qualify yet for the resources we need to teach our second language learners. In my class, all of my students qualify for and receive free or reduced priced lunches. The needs of our students are great. A photo library will ensure that our students understand basic English vocabulary that they can then apply to the areas of Language Arts, Science, and Social Science. We would appreciate your support whole-heartedly. Thank you!
