Phonics, Reading and Math Building

My Students

I have a diverse class of 20 students. I have 4 sped students, 1 non-English speaking student and the rest are your average students. My students at the beginning of the year came in about a year behind in both reading and math skills.

My Project

My students will be using the manipulatives to help build their phonics skills and word building skills that will also help build their overall reading. We will also be able to build our math skills with using the base 10 and fraction circles. With each student being able to have their own board and letter sets all students can be engaged in the lessons in both reading and math. The head sets will allow the students to use their chromebooks and work individually without disrupting the the rest of the class.
