I need to take this training to help my students read better using a phonics based system. This system has been proven to help English Language Learners succeed in learning how to read.

My Students

My classroom is full of diverse students. The students that I serve come from a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and academic abilities.

My goal is to teach all students at their level to help them grow and succeed in school.

I love watching the students in my room thrive and love learning. It is the most important part of my job!

My students are funny and unique. They enjoy learning every day. I want to help my students grow to the best of their ability.

My Project

I want to take this training to help support my English Language Learners and struggling readers. In my classroom I see a large number of students who speak English as their second language. I have seen amazing results from this program with a former student.

I want to help my struggling readers find the joy and excitement that books can bring.

I want to help these students become avid readers and love reading!

This training will provide me with the professional development that I need to support my students. I will receive the full kit that can be used within my classroom groups for years to come to support my readers.
