My students are amazing! We are a two-time National School of Character, and our students exhibit this every day. Our students lead assemblies, have classroom jobs and leadership roles. They love to learn and connect their learning to the real world.

I am dedicated to finding new ways to get my kids excited about learning. I know that creating lifelong learners is a huge part of my job. By making learning fun, I can foster a love of learning in my young students.
My Project
It's phonics time in the classroom. We are working on long vowel sounds, and the students can't wait to get out our games to begin playing. But oh no! There aren't enough games for everyone and the games pieces are all mixed up. What are we going to do?
We need new phonics games and trays to keep our game pieces organized.
This project asks for three different phonics games that each come on 4 different levels. This allows my students to be challenged for their individual needs. One game has students roll a die with letters on it and they have to fill in a blank on their card with the correct letter to make a word. Another has them use letter tiles to build words in a crossword game for words with their letter-sound pattern. I know these games will give my students the extra practice they need while also being fun!
