My Students

My students consist of a variety of learners, including students with disabilities (SWD) and English Language Learners (ELLs). My classroom is a museum of loving, compassionate individuals from the students to the teachers and beyond! My teaching styles include Whole Brain Teacher and Total Physical Response where students are able to move around the classroom and become active while learning! Our school is located in a very small community in New York, where everyone feels (and is treated) like family!

My Project

Technology is a very large and important part of our classroom. We are very blessed with accessibility to Chromebooks for every student, but students lack access to comfortable, durable headphones to truly enjoy their learning experiences. Being able to provide every student with a set of headphones will allow for us to create interactive, engaging activities that embrace the use of technology altogether! Technology is everywhere--entwined in almost every part of our culture. It affects how we live, work, play, and most importantly learn. Through the use of headphones, we will more easily address the technological needs of this generation and our students.
