Help me give my students the tools to be successful. We have identified the need to revitalize our weight room. Phase 1 will involve improving the cardiovascular equipment. These recumbent bikes/rowing machines will be a great start.
I am a part of a small rural school district in Northern Wisconsin. We are more like a large family rather than a small school district. We share one building, so the students all interact with each other on a daily basis. Being a part of a small district like ours requires the kids to be supportive and engaged in several sports and extracurricular activities. We consistently have around 80% of our students participating in at least one sport.
Our athletes are the type of people who would go out of their way to help a stranger.
They are amazing, and they make me proud to be one of their coaches. I would really like to repay them for all that they do. They deserve the best!
My Project
As a school we have identified several ways to help improve our athletic programs. One of these ways is to invest in our students physical health and wellness. We have began the process of revitalizing our weight room. Our football, basketball, volleyball, baseball/softball and cross country teams will greatly benefit from this equipment.

We currently have a few bikes and other cardiovascular equipment, but several pieces are breaking down. This makes it hard to meet our athletes needs.
As we look to the future, we believe that this project can be the beginning of something special. This is just the first phase, but it will help us to show our athletes that we share an investment in their development.
