My students are kind and respectful. Many of them come from single family, low income households. They all have different experiences and circumstances that make them who they are. I want to give them exciting new opportunities to learn.

They will be excited to come to school every day.
I believe the best way for my students to learn and be excited to come to school is by giving them opportunities they may not have at home. Many of my students do not have the support, or the means, to take care of an animal properly. I know they will learn many things from this experience but more importantly, it will help develop the caring, nurturing side of my students.
My Project
These materials will be used to house, care, and feed animals in my classroom. While I currently have some suitable tanks and homes for our pets, we still need a few additional things to make sure they are cared for properly and for our future pets. Homes and heating elements, food, and toys are items that will be needed in order for them to thrive.
These items will ensure the proper care of our pets.
The students are extremely excited about having better things for them. The students have already researched our current animals and future animals. By having these items in our class, we can continue hands-on learning. This provides them with the opportunity to read, study, research, observe, create, and care for animals.
