Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
These Kindergarten kids are awesome! They are excited about learning, reading, writing, and mathematics. We are working hard each day to improve and be ready for first grade.
This group of kids loves each whole group Promethan board lesson.
They love seeing their own photos on the big Promethean board. I am constantly amazed at these little ones and their unique personalities. I want them to shine on the big screen in our Kindergarten classroom! I want to create more great interactive lessons.
My Project
In the past, I have crafted and created lessons at school using student names, pictures, and interests.
Kids love seeing themselves on the big Prometheum board while learning letter and number names, adding and subtracting, as well as other subjects.
Kids are much better at connecting and learning when it is about them! I would love to do this at home, after school hours. Personalized learning is memorable! That’s what kids need, to help the new information sink in. The Wonders curriculum is also a great on-line resource I can use to incorporate and save on a Chromebook at home. The time for preparation of presentations is needed. I can take it home in a portable case with the wireless mouse.
