Personalized Learning Technology Tools

Help me give my students more accessibility options as they use technology to follow their own personalized learning pathway. Having headphones and keyboards that connect to their school devices will allow for more hands-on and interactive experiences.

My Students

We have some amazing 6th-grade students who are becoming independent and self-directed learners this year. These students are acquiring the skills needed to take responsibility and ownership of their own learning. Part of this process requires students to have and use technology effectively to personalize learning according to their individual needs.

My Project

Students have taken more responsibility and accountability for their learning as we have transitioned to PCBL practices and given students more personalized teaching and learning experiences in the "post COVID" classroom.

By adding more tools- the personalized learning pathways become more accessible to every student's individualized learning needs.

Headphones, keyboards, and charging stations will allow for students to work at varied pathways and pacing- watching instructional videos, taking virtual field trips, having interactive experiences, and using other technology tools and programs at the timing which they need it.

The requested tools also provide additional support to students with special needs- headphones allowing students to have assistance in reading and accessing course materials, and keyboards helping students with fine motor skills.

The technology supports that are requested will prepare students with the skills they need to take further ownership of their current and future learning.
