Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many come from homes where English is a second language. Their families work tirelessly to support them and their education.
We are a personalized learning site, and our students come to school ready to learn and work towards their personal goals.
They help one another and cheer each other's success. It is amazing to see the community they build within our site.
My Project
During these unprecedented times, I'd like to create and gift my students personalized incentives. The Cricut Joy I will be able to transport to school when face-to-face or use at home when distance teaching. The press will be used for making classroom T-shirts or reading tote bags.
Personalized incentives will make their rewards more memorable and unique to each student.
During distance learning, students will be given the opportunity to design and create a class tshirt that we can wear on special days. When we return to our classroom, the opportunity for students to design and create designs will be limitless. They will be given the opportunity to design and personalize their own incentives.
