This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergartners are inquisitive and engaged learners. My students are kinesthetic learners that love to read and explore the world around them. They like to have a variety of learning spaces that offer different equipment and materials allowing them to decide where they are most productive, to be creative, collaborate with others or work independently while meeting the need for them to explore and learn.

Students will have an opportunity to find their own space and work on activities that are design just for them.

This project will help offer high-quality experiences to my students!

My Project

We are requesting Portable Lap Desks so they can work on the go. My Kindergarten students have two of these portable lap desks in our flexible seating classroom. They love them so much that I had to make a schedule for them to use them. When they have a turn to use them, they are no longer constrained to a stationary desk when they need to write or work with a laptop.

I would like to have enough portable desks for half of my class to use during their learning time.

They work great! They can even be used by adults in a chair, so I know I will use them in many classes to come.

These portable desks give children the opportunity to work anywhere and take them outside to continue working.
