Personal Hygiene Closet

Help me give my students a personal hygiene closet where they can access the essential items such as deodorant, hair care products, and menstrual kits their families may not be able to provide for them.

My Project

I am one of the many special education teachers with students who not only struggle with academic and social emotional needs, but the majority of them come from low socioeconomic homes.

The access to a personal hygiene closet will allow my students to have the essential items they need without being embarrassed.

The closet will be accessible to the students without them having to ask for the items they need such as deodorant, tooth brushes, toothpaste, nail clippers, nail brushes, hair brushes, combs, menstrual kits, hair bands, and chap stick.

Thank you for helping to support the basic needs of my students, so they can feel confident within the school community.
