My Project
These books will continue to encourage students to read and engage with literature. They attend an all-girl school, therefore it is important that they are exposed to female leaders from around the world. Not only will they be able to learn about a female leader, but they'll also be able to learn about her culture.
We will be using this book in our next unit to learn about change-makers in the world.
Having a personal copy of I am Malala will allow my students to annotate within it. It will also be a great addition to their at-home library as a lot of my students don't have books at home.
