This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the last two years, I've grown enough tomatoes, basil, and marigolds to give every student in our K-5 elementary school a plant to take home if they wanted one. I also have the students take cuttings from some houseplants and offer these to any student or staff that would like a plant. This year, I'd like to do the same.

I have some supplies to do this, but I need some seed starting soil and some small plastic pots to accomplish this goal.

Please help us by donating so that I can buy pots, soil, and some stickers to label the pots.
