My Students

Bright, engaging, talented, and inquisitive are all ways to describe my students. My students come from many varied and diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Because of this diversity, many students lack experience and background in learning science.

My goal each day is to develop this understanding with all of my students. It is critical to engage their learning using as many modalities as possible!

My Project

Chromebooks will allow for integration of technology into my classroom as well as planning and implementing interdisciplinary lessons using the Amplify curriculum within the science department.

My students will be able to learn lifelong skills that will provide them with opportunities for their future.

Students will be able to complete research, use the online Amplify simulations and modeling tools, save and complete work on their Google Drive within Google Classroom, and utilize a variety of other programs for academic support and success. Students will also have the opportunity to check their grades to increase their ability to control their academic success.
