This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need pencils in order to complete their written assignments during the school day. Pencils are hard to come by in the district and right now they are using markers that we have found in the school. My students most of the time can not afford to buy basic school supplies so by supplying the students with pencils make them more enthusiastic to learn.

By getting pencils the students will be able to waste less paper and read their handwriting easier.

As my students mostly speak Spanish and English is their second language, writing in pencil will make writing easier to understand and more legible.
