My Students

My students are in desperate need of simple classroom supplies!

Many of my students live in poverty.

They will have supplies at the beginning of the school year, but by the end those supplies are long gone. Their parents are unable to supply these basic items for them. I try to keep up a stash of things such as pens, pencils, and erasers; however my supplies are dwindling as well!

My Project

My students need pens and pencils so they can participate in class. The students will use my materials when they do not have materials of their own. It is expected that my students come to class prepared, however I must keep in mind the fact that most of my students are unable to get these things for themselves. I will ask that the students return my things at the end of the school day.

My project will make a difference, because in order for students to learn, they have to be comfortable enough to learn.

This includes meeting basic needs such as having pens, pencils, paper, erasers, etc.
