Help me give my students these basic supplies to finish and begin a new school year. Pencils, glue, paper, and lots of other materials, will allow my STEM students to succeed at their best!
I currently teach creative and inspiring 6th and 7th grade STEM students, regular classroom students, ESL students and also Inclusion students. Our school is located in one of the low income and rural counties in North Carolina. We have a high Hispanic population as well as students that need free and reduced lunch.
In my classroom, we are a FAMILY unit that makes learning creative and engaging.
Being that we are a small community, most of my students have been in school together since day one. Even though my students learn at all different levels, success is still an important piece they strive for daily. We currently do not have many stores that provide materials for them to purchase or get to within our small county. The closest stores are located about 30 minutes away with some of our student families not having the resources to even get to them.
My Project
The students I teach, are already faced with so many other things when coming to school. Teaching at a Title I school, my STEM students do not always have the materials they need or are able to go and buy the supplies that will help them learn to their potential on a daily basis.

They will be able to use all these materials to complete every day assignments, monthly projects, and even practice their skills outside (weather permitting) using chalk! They love to use and figure out new ways to learn with different materials.
