My Students

Who knew that one of my worst teacher nightmares could be my students' never ending search for the sharpest pencil?

My first graders attend a public elementary school in Northern California.

Our school is one of four TK-5 campuses in our town. Our school is focusing on College Readiness, letting each student know they will have the option to attend college if they choose to do so. We work hard each and every day to ensure that all of our students are given opportunities where they will be successful, contributing members of their community.

My Project

My students are in desperate need of quiet, safe pencil sharpener to make our classroom more productive and organized. The pencil sharpener will be used to help keep students well supplied with sharp pencils without disrupting the class. In an increasing technological educational world, my students still use pencils everyday to practice penmanship and to demonstrate their learning. In addition the the sharpener, my students are in need of pencils!

Donations to this project would help my students by allowing them to focus on the important parts of our learning day by taking away the annoyance of not having a sharp pencil!

Please help me to end the never ending search for the sharpest pencil.
