This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The smile on my kids faces when I give them a small present makes a huge difference.

I have 315 8th grade students, most of which come from disadvantaged homes.

I ordered these pencils to help boost their confidence and to help them feel good about themselves. It is my hope that when I give them these pencils, I can make their day a little bit brighter.

My Project

My students need pencils to get their work done. Some of my students have a hard time obtaining the materials they need to work, even something as simple as pencils. It is my hope that by having extra pencils, my students can be prepared for my class and their other classes. Using these pencils they can get their work done without thinking twice about not having the right tools.

Your donations will improve my classroom by providing my students with simple tools they need to get their work done.

It is my hope that these simple self esteem boosting pencils can make their day a little sharper.
