Help me give my students a pencil sharpener and pencils so that they can complete their work with a sharp pencil. We do not have a working pencil sharpener in class and always need pencils!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are Somis STARS! They strive to start each day with positive attitudes, take responsibility for their actions, always try their best, and are responsible and show respect to each other. It is so much fun being their teacher.
Each and every day my students work hard to complete assignments, work in centers, and work together as a team.
They have all grown so much academically and socially since the beginning of the year. I am very proud of all of their hard work so far this school year.
My Project
My third grade students use pencils every single day in order to complete their math, science, social studies, writing, art, and language arts assignments. We go through many pencils every week.
Currently we do not have a pencil sharpener that works in our classroom.
There are a few students who have hand held sharpeners and all of the students request to borrow them throughout the day. It takes much longer to get their pencils sharpened and back to work because of this.
If this project is funded my third graders will be thrilled to have sharp pencils. They will enjoy not having to wait for their teacher to sharpen their pencils after school and will no longer have to trade their pencil in daily and wait for a sharp one the following day.
