This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My scholars are very energetic, optimistic, and eager readers, with grit that is sure to take them on many flights of fancy as they travel from my room to and through college.
My scholars love to read novels and create stories of their own.
Some of them even make their own little comic books. It brightens my day to see their zest for learning and to see them exploring the possibilities beyond the walls of our classroom. They are truly on the road to becoming lifelong learners and productive citizens in their communities.
My Project
My students used pencils daily to complete assignments. Our pencil supply is running low because my students are hard workers.
Since my students always strive to do better, they often have to erase the wrong answer and re-write it with the correct one - therefore lots of paper, pencils, and erasers are needed for continuous improvement which yields effective learning.
Having this ample supply of pencils will benefit our students in our classroom tremendously. The electric pencil sharpener will allow my students to keep their pencils ready to be used. Your donation will be greatly appreciated!
