My Students

The second grade students in my classroom come from a community of diverse learners from many social and cultural backgrounds. Many of my students have already faced hardships in their lives. Our school is an Expanded Learning Time School (ELT), and a Title One school. Many of the students in the classroom are ELL (English Language Learners).

The students are bright, eager and excited to learn.

I look forward to going to work each day! I love seeing the excitement on their faces when they finally get a concept and succeed in it. My second grade students have a passion to learn.

My Project

The donation of pencils and crayons would make a difference in the learning of the entire second grade class at the our school. These materials will be shared among all four second grade classrooms. Many of the students attend school without these needed materials. The pencils and crayons will be used during every subject. They also need pencils to help them succeed in literacy and math. Without these materials, students are unable to participate fully during a lesson.
