I teach a class of 22 amazing kindergartners who are eager to learn and deserve endless resources, experiences, and opportunities. They come from different backgrounds, have a wealth of experiences, and have a lot to contribute to our diverse learning community. They are eager for knowledge and engaging opportunities to learn.
I have a very diverse population at my school and in my classroom, with at least 50% learning English as their second language.
I teach at one of the most diverse schools in the nation!
The children delight in activities that engage their minds and bodies, and they look forward to what each day of the exciting kindergarten world brings them! It is my job to inspire and motivate them in a variety of ways that reach the whole child. Many students come with challenges including ADD, ADHD, and autism, and it is my job to reach, teach, inspire, and love them all!
My Project
We need crayons, pencils, markers, and laminating sheets to begin the new year!
My students love to do artwork and their favorite tool is anything that adds color!
The Mr. Sketch scented crayons would be a hit with my kiddos. They also need a replenishment of pink crayons. We are down to a few short pink crayons so they listed pink crayons on our class wish list for 2020.
Also on their wishlist for 2020 are pencils and markers because the erasers are all gone on our current pencils and our markers are running low on ink! The laminating sheets were requested by my students because they love when I laminate their work, especially their artwork. After a quick run through our classroom laminating machine in less than a minute, their work is shiny, protected, preserved, and saved for a lifetime to cherish! We go through hundreds of laminating sheets for their work in just a few weeks and can always use a replenished stock.
New, replenished supplies for the 2020 New Year would be a great way to begin for my amazing, deserving students!
