My Students

I am a 6th grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher at our middle school.

My students are bright, vibrant children that are eager to learn and ready to embrace every challenge with confidence and a good attitude.

It’s always fun to get to share in their reading experience and watch them as they get into the stories they’re reading. Reading and writing are such an important basis for every student.

I am thankful to get to be a part of their lives even if for only a school year. I hope to make a memorable difference in their lives. They are a brilliant group of young ladies and gentlemen, and I am so proud of them.

My Project

School supplies are essential for a positive learning environment. Nothing says excitement like the faces I see when my students enter my classroom and see all the tools they need prepared and ready for them. Highlighters for taking notes. Colored pens for writing circles. Pencils and excellent sharpeners ready to go. These are the things that make my students smile and eager to learn.

My students are excited and ready to go when they see stations prepared and set up waiting for them.

Many are never given the supplies needed to be successful in the classroom. I don't want that to ever be an issue for my classroom. These items will help immensely aid my students in their learning.
