My students are honest, trustworthy, dedicated, loving, caring, outgoing, brave, and so much more. I am so proud of all of my students for breaking out of their shell already this year and learning how to stand up for themselves and for others. It brightens my heart to see 5th graders understand responsibility and know how to take responsibility for their own assignments and actions. Most of all, they understand the power of saying sorry and earning respect and trust from others.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by letting them have a working electric pencil sharpener that will be fast and easy to use. This way students will be able to quickly sharpen their pencils so they can get back to their learning! Paper is such an essential resource they we seem to have a shortage of. Our school had a shortage of paper and we did not have paper for weeks which made it difficult to give copies of assignments to students. This paper would help me run a successful classroom. And of course, pencils, pencils, pencils! With so much learning and fun going on in my room, my students sometimes misplace their pencils. The pencils I would obtain would assist in a pencil shortage!
