This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a 4th grade class that loves being back in school! One positive take away from the pandemic school year is that students are so happy to be back in the classroom learning together again. They are a positive group of kids who love learning. Furthermore, they LOVE DonorChoose projects and are grateful to the people that support them, and so is their teacher!

My Project

These items will be used regularly to enrich our classroom P.E. time. Skills like throwing and catching, kicking, tossing, (and perhaps what I am most excited for) juggling, will all be developed with these amazing new pieces of equipment. In addition, the parachute will be a great team building activity as students learn to work together in unison.

I can just see my students excited to go to P.E.

at the end of the day once they have this exciting new equipment. Having fun while developing student's overall confidence and health? Yes please!!
