My Students

The students in my school range from kindergarten to fifth grade and come from numerous backgrounds. My Physical Education classroom is a place of movement, skill development, and fun. Students will spend this year developing a variety of different PE skills while having fun at the same time. My students will develop a lasting enjoyment for being active and physically fit for life.

They are excited to participate in many new PE activities. They take pride in their efforts, and are willing to challenge their bodies for the sake of being a healthier person.

My Project

My students are in need of new floor mats for gymnastics and tumbling in PE. Our current mats are falling apart and have lost most of their cushion. The students in my classes love to move their bodies in creative ways. These new mats will give my students the opportunity to learn basic tumbling and gymnastic moments in a safe and appropriate environment. These mats will come into use even beyond the rolling and tumbling they are intended for. I have a several games where the mats are stood upright for throwing and obstacle challenges. Thank you for helping bring new mats to my school!
