My Project

In our school and wider community, a pressing issue is the lack of inclusive physical education opportunities for disabled students. Despite the importance of physical activity for overall health and well-being, many disabled students face barriers that prevent them from fully participating in physical education classes. Our project aims to address this problem by advocating for inclusive physical education and providing the necessary supplies and resources to support disabled students in accessing and participating in physical activity.

The problem our students want to address in the community is the exclusion of disabled students from physical education opportunities due to lack of accessibility and inclusivity.

Physical education classes often fail to accommodate the diverse needs and abilities of disabled students, leading to limited participation and exclusion from essential physical activity opportunities. This exclusion perpetuates inequalities and denies disabled students the benefits of physical activity.

To address this problem, our students will raise awareness about the importance of inclusive physical education and advocate for systemic changes to promote accessibility and inclusivity within physical education programs by showcasing how new equipment allows them to fully particiape to administration and district level leaders.
