PE Equipment to Support Health

Help me give my students (K-8) the equipment they need to participate in healthy activities. During the pandemic, our students did not have a structured physical class for two years. The new equipment would help them get healthy.

My Project

In addition to the challenges of the pandemic, our students did not have a regular PE class for two years. As a new hire, I am trying to build back a program and need equipment to create healthy and fun activities for all students. Many times, the little equipment I have breaks because it is old. By having the right equipment to create fun lessons, students will be excited to participate and exercise which also positively impacts academic learning as research has show that regular physical activity aids in cognitive development. In addition, regular activity helps students feel better about themselves and gives them a coping strategy which impacts their mental and physical wellness. PE is a great way to interact with others and improves their social emotional learning as well. By having more resources and equipment, I can provide a variety of fun and engaging lessons that positively impact students' well being and their overall health.
