Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is full of 21st century learners. We want to learn with technology!
Our class is made up of a very diverse set of learners.
70% of the class are English language learners. 100% of the students are on free lunch. Many students do not have access to technology at home. School is where they get the exposure they need to become learners in today's technology-driven world. Technology is very exciting and interesting to students. I want to make sure my students love technology as much as I do! Please help us in reaching our goals.
My Project
When we get PE equipment, we will be able to play a variety of games and activities. We are requesting basketballs, soccer balls, beanbags, dodge balls, baseballs and bats, balls for kickball, spots for warmups, scoops and waffle balls for motor skills, cones to set everything up, a boom box to dance, and a bullhorn to help the teacher be heard. We will use this to help us be healthy. The equipment will help us really enjoy PE and have so much fun! When we do PE we have two 3rd grade classes that go together. We need enough equipment for 40 students.
Our classes love being outside and playing.
With this PE equipment we will have so much more fun! This PE equipment will engage us to be outside, working our bodies and brains, and will increase our mindfulness through play and fun!
