Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As Kindergarteners, the classroom provides an arena to explore, imagine, and learn. Our students love to learn new things and are excited about opportunities for hands-on interactive learning experiences. My students love to be challenged through intervention stations and centers.
Opportunities, where each child is able to choose fun games or projects that help to assess their knowledge in an interactive manner, keep them excited about learning.
I would love the opportunity to nurture these sentiments through the addition of these supplies so that our children have the means and the opportunity to flourish within their educational careers.
My Project
Classroom management is a huge part of teaching. In my classroom by kids are incentivized to behave and work hard by going to our classroom store each week. At our school we follow a PBS matrix, which is a way to reinforce positive behavior at school.
These kids are going to be earning their own classroom money and have the opportunity to bring their money to the store every Friday and buy what they would like based on how well they behaved during the week.
This time is my students favorite time of the week, please help me to provide them with great prizes to reward their positive behavior.
