This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The school I work at is a STEM-certified elementary school. We teach project-based learning lessons throughout the year.

Our favorite is our pollinator garden.

We research pollinators and what we can do to help them. We need supplies for our garden. We need different seeds that will attract pollinators. Each student chooses a pollinator and makes a garden sign with it on a garden sign. We also make birdhouses and hang them in the garden on garden hooks. The entire school may enjoy our garden so we take a lot of pride in it.
