My students need sugar and cotton candy sticks to help motivate them in regards to academics and behavior. We will also use the bubble machine as an incentive as well as to enhance our school dances.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach in a school in southeast Georgia right outside the main gate of a US Army Fort. Our community services many military children. My school is considered a Title I school. This means a majority of our students receive free or reduced price lunch. Like most young children our children love to have fun and celebrate their successes. We are hoping to enhance our learning environment by providing our students with many opportunities to celebrate their many successes big or small.
My Project
We will use the snow cone papers,cotton candy cones, light sticks, and bubble machine to provide incentives for our students. With the implementation of PBIS, we are always looking for ways to motivate our students.
The snow cones, bubble machine and glow sticks will not only provide us with a way to motivate students but it will also allow us to conduct fundraisers to raise money for various programs and items that we want to do and buy.
We will use the items for our PBIS celebrations as well as use the items to help raise money for other celebrations that we would like to have in the future. All the items included will be used for either fundraising or at our PBIS celebrations.
