Help me give my students PBIS Rewards Program, which is an evidence based framework that supports and fosters the social/emotional development of all students, which will improve school wide discipline and create a safe learning environment for all.
Our school is a unique island school in an increasingly growing Charleston County. The students come from diverse backgrounds and needs.

Middle school kids are just plain fun to be around. Every day with them is different. They are fun to teach and to learn from. Our community is in transition. We have gone from suburban to essentially urban very quickly. Our city has over 45 people moving here a day. With a poverty rate of just over 8% and about a 12% graduation gap, the neighborhoods here are very diverse. Our students are adjusting to a much larger school population and are developing a community for themselves within this population growth and significant change. Our schools focus is to prepare our students for the real world and to teach them the importance of making positive contributions to our community and nation.
My Project
PBIS Rewards will give our school community access to a complete digital "token economy". This means we won’t have to deal with paper tickets, manual accounting on spreadsheets, or incomplete data. Because PBIS Rewards is digital, it’s completely track-able. We can use PBIS Rewards to award students points and make it easy for them to redeem these points. Our entire school “economy” needs are met with features like our school store, personalized teacher stores, Town Halls, raffles, and Wonderful Wednesday.
The PBIS Rewards platform will allow our students and staff to access rewards from virtually anywhere.
Our school's staff and community members can recognize any student anywhere – on any device. This means that we will be able to recognize positive behaviors for both remote and face to face students! Our bus drivers will also have access, how awesome is that?!
