My Students

My students are hard working, creative thinkers! Every day we foster individual creativity and encourage free thinking. We learn to support each other and help each other out on all art projects. My students love anything creative and love working with mixed media. The messier, the better! We work with all fine art departments to experience all different art forms as well. Right now, we are designing the set designs and stage designs for theater. Recently, we built an art instillation involving 1,000 water bottles to talk about environmental awareness.

My Project

The students at our school will combine talents to recreate a very large Paul Cezanne painting! This amazing professional grade easel would be great to have because of the quality. The students need a solid, safe, and sturdy place since the canvas is very large! We could use it for decades to come as well! We always need more white paint since we encourage bright colors to mimic Cezanne's technique. The Gesso will be used to prime this collaborative canvas as well as canvases in the future. The Gesso also really comes in handy for creating texture in the painting.
