My students write vivid powerful works related to U.S. History. Many have written wonderful works of historical fiction detailing realistic migrations of Huguenots from France, the Irish, and other Europeans. Many have poured onto page powerful, tragic, historical fictions chronicling the forced journeys from the African coasts to America. I have brought my computer to school so that my students can use it to write their works of art and their potent ideas on American history and government. The only problem is that there is no printer. The two printers the school has supplied me with both do not work. There is one computer lab, but with a school of over 500 children, students only receive lab time once a week. I ask that a kind giving person supply us with a printer. we really need it. Our school is located in the South Bronx and is one of the poorest communities in the nation. Please, if you can, provide us with a printer to help express the stories and ideas necessary for a better America. Thank you for your time and consideration,
