My Students

I work with a group of 26 wonderful Kindergarteners who are excited to learn! They love to come to school every day and are very hard working! I am looking to help them with their writing skills and purchase some journals to help them really develop a love for writing as well as engaging in individual writing during our read alouds. My students come from all different backgrounds and are all really working hard to become better writers every day!

My Project

My students will be able to use these journals and clipboards not only for writing during daily 5 but also using it to develop better writing skills during read aloud time. I would love for my students to have a journal to use throughout the year and take home at the end of the year to show their progress in writing. During read alouds we do a lot of work that involves interactive writing and phonics. These journals would be a great way for them to get that extra writing practice in that they really need. They would love to each have their own journals to keep throughout the year!
