Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work at an amazing school with energetic students and hard working parents. I focus on creating an honest and positive connection with each of my students in order to promote a meaningful classroom community.
Each year I am introduced to a bundle of students with endless potential and a drive to see how much they can grow.
It is important to me to facilitate my students' learning in a way that helps them to become reflective and productive participants in their own learning.
My Project
Help me build partner art supply kits for my students to use during in-class and end of the week art activities. As a third year teacher, my students and classroom have limited access to art supplies that do not include simply crayons.
Whether the art activity it is curriculum aligned or enrichment based, my students deserve access to a diverse range of art supplies.
I am hoping to build art supply pouches for students to use as partners. The pouches (provided by me) would include items that I have already purchased as well as the listed Donors Choose items. These items will help my classroom run smoothly during each art activity as well as allow my students to color their heart out!
