Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students
Our student champions are ready for success. Many of our students in our upper grades (3rd-5th) have been here since they were three years old in our Early Childhood Education program.
Now, they are leaders in our school.
They have advanced in their studies and are developing into the next generation of changemakers. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will take the Partnership for Assessment and Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) exam this upcoming spring. They have been preparing throughout the year for this exam in their classes through Mastery Mondays, in after-school PARCC preparation programs, and in their day-to-day class activities.
My Project
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Student Champions have been working hard to prepare for their PARCC exam. They have gained self-confidence, acquired strategies, and have worked hard to master content. Now, it is time for them to display their hard work!
We want all our students to succeed.
We aim to support our students by providing motivating prizes for them. Students may enter a chance to win these items at the end of the testing period. Students will earn raffle tickets throughout the PARCC window when they display on-task, determined, and focused behaviors for each test they take. We want to support our students as they engage in thoughtful test-taking strategies.
