Our student champions are ready for success. Many of our students in our upper grades (3rd-5th) have been here since they were three years old in our Early Childhood Education program.
Now, they are leaders in our school.
They have advanced in their studies and are developing into the next generation of changemakers. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will take the Partnership for Assessment and Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) exam this upcoming spring. They have been preparing throughout the year for this exam in their classes through Mastery Mondays, in after-school PARCC preparation programs, and in their day-to-day class activities.
In order to provide the optimal quiet, focused, and studious environment for our Student Champions, we are seeking support in funding enough headphones for each student. These headphones will be used during the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) testing this spring and in future years. We want our students to have the opportunity to perform their best and demonstrate their level of excellence. Currently, we do not have enough sets of headphones for each student. These headphones are also compatible for the read-aloud function during testing, which will support students with Individualized Education Plans to have access to their accommodations. Thank you for supporting our student!
