Ms. Matthews from Chicago IL is requesting classroom basics through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students paper to be able to take home projects and homework. Our school cannot allow textbooks to go home and paper is a necessity.

We are aiming to be a 90/90/90 school.
*Over 90% of our students are free lunch
*Over 90% students of color
*Reaching for 90% attainment on standardized tests
We are lucky to educate a diverse group of students who come from homes where parents work 2+ jobs to ensure their families are thriving. Our students have a love for learning and should not be punished for inadequate funding. Paper should not hold back our teachers and students from project based learning, social emotional lessons and creativity in the classroom.
Paper. Many of us take it for granted until it's all gone! Although our students have access to online learning at school, the majority of our students do not have internet or printers at home.
This makes paper our biggest asset for student learning outside of the classroom.
Homework and projects have to be printed for students at school to make learning easy at home.
We are currently running extremely short. This makes printing the following difficult for our most vulnerable students with IEPs and special needs. Copying lessons and social stories for parents to re-teach at home and connect school to home.
