My seventh and eighth grade students come to school carrying piles of stress and the impact of tragedies on their shoulders. They face more troubles in their short lives than I would hope to face in a lifetime. Yet, despite their hardships, they continue to amaze me.
My students attend school in a building that is over 100 years old with a lack of resources; yet, they harness the potential to change the world.
They just need access to resources to reach and realize their full potential. Now, that is where amazing people like you come in.
Although we are becoming more eco friendly each year, paper is still an essential item in all classrooms. I find myself coming in early and staying late 4 out of 5 days of the week just to make copies!
We need and use paper every day!
It’s hard to put into words the importance of this simple item. The white copy paper will be used to make copies of homework, review work, permission slips, small group instruction practice sheets and so much more.. The colored paper will become math reference sheets, parent newsletters, and important documents that will go home or be pasted in the books.
