Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A typical day in my classroom is energetic, creative, and fast-paced. I teach four Art courses, one course of Student Council, and I also sponsor the entire senior class every year. My students work extremely hard to come together and develop their skills, both in and out the classroom.
My school is situated in the middle of a struggling community.
Our population is largely Hispanic, and many of our students are English Language Learners. The students at my school view many of our school organizations as a second family and support system.
My Project
In providing this paper, I will be able to help students stay focused on the task at hand in color coordinating the materials they need to succeed. With this ability, we will be able to print copies of example artwork for assignments so that the students can have a visual reference. This will allow all the students to be able to access information faster by associating the information with a color for quick reference.
By being able to make copies using various colors in my classroom, it helps the students have the information.
Additionally, my students will be able to access my printer and, be able to have the paper to make whatever copies they may need.
