Giving students learning opportunities that present themselves as play allows for greater knowledge growth. We have a group of diverse, loving, creative kids that are yearning for learning opportunities beyond those you can find in a book.
We have two classes of preschoolers ranging in age from 3 to 5 who are ready to learn and grow.
We have a nice, large space to call our school home. We love rearranging and changing our environment to reflect themes! The students help to make their space creative and fun for everyone to enjoy.
My Project
At our small preschool we are running low on paper for crafting. Budget constraints can make purchasing extra paper throughout the school year difficult.
Students love to create art pieces to decorate our classroom and hallway.
We like to use paints at our art centers, but often end up with rolled up paper that cracks and crumbles once paint is dry. This is why we are asking for watercolor paper.
Currently we have only a couple colors of construction paper and the quantities are low making it difficult to create classroom projects such as letter crafts or seasonal art pieces. The various packs of colored construction paper will allow students to continue to be creative and make our environment lively! Students also love the challenge of cutting paper to create pieces of art, this is an important part of motor development that construction paper can help with!
In our classroom we have many bulletin board and make changes to the environment often to keep the students excited about the classroom and our learning. In order to do this we need Rainbow Kraft paper rolls to create larger decorations and spaces.
