Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students have a specific learning disability and come from a high poverty area in Los Angeles into my classroom, ready to learn and explore. A typical day in my classroom is fun. My students take pride in their work and are very eager to learn. I motivate and praise my students to do their best and not give up.
My students love to learn, plus they are active and energetic.
They learn best with hands-on interactive materials. They are more engaged and eager to learn when learning can be turned into a fun, active moment, through colorful and interactive activities.
My students lack the basic resources at home, and unfortunately, the resources available in my classroom are very limited. The classroom has been evolving for decades and continues to do so. Please help my students to become successful.
My Project
We need card stock and rolls of paper for our new classroom plotter printer. We need card stock snd rolls of paper to print out the numerous educational resources that are available online to help my students with their learning. These printed learning resources will be used to help meet specific needs of individual students. We also need more classroom storage to store our school and donated supplies. The storage boxes will help keep us stay organized and clutter free. These items will be greatly appreciated and will be of great use in the classroom. Thank you in advance for helping our classroom!!!
