I am honored to spend my days with 20 eager, energetic, and enthusiastic little learners. They are truly inspiring individuals.
I teach in a Title I school where 80% of my students live in poverty, but all of my students are ready to be the best they can be!
Many of them have already experienced traumatic life events that impact how they see themselves and their world. I challenge myself with the task of helping each of these precious learners find their love of learning and love of life. They teach me more each day than I will ever teach them! They are absolutely my reason!
My Project
Learning in kindergarten is a hands-on, non-stop adventure! Everyday we explore our world to learn magical new things. Having paint sticks and pop-its will help my students stay engaged in the learning process and excited about learning new things.
Pop-its provide immediate kinesthetic feedback to all learners helping them make important connections in their brain.
These pop-its have numbers and letters on them to help with mathematical, reading and writing improvement!
Paint sticks will allow the children to color their world daily. Exploring their artistic side helps them grow academically as well!
