Help me give my students fun aprons to protect their clothes from paint, paintbrush holders to teach the students about taking care of the art supplies, and fun tempera colors for our future self-portrait projects.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students I teach are enthusiastic, curious, and very outgoing. They are in the Elementary levels, ranging from Pre-K to 4th grade. My students love art class, they thrive in the visual arts. Pre-K are learning about small motor skills, and new ideas; while 4th graders are learning about art history and the impacts art can make in the community.
The students are always trying to engage and do their best.
Art is a way for my students to show their personal interests visually. My students love to discover new materials and new concepts.
My Project
We are planning on using our paints and brushes a lot this school year. So in preparation, I plan to help the students keep our classroom supplies nice and clean. Also, allowing the students to use aprons to protect their clothing is so vital for some families that may have to purchase more clothing.
The students love to use aprons, they feel like they are at work, and new brushes always help them better respect the art classroom.
Tempera paints are a great way for young students to be engaged in painting and not have to worry about permanent stains in their clothing. We plan on creating a self-portrait series this fall season, and these colors will work great with their projects.
