This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth grade students are dual language learners who are working to master both English and Spanish. In our academic push for success, we don't always have time to engage their creative minds. The stress of mastering academics needs to be balanced with the release of their creativity.

My students need art supplies so they can engage both their right and left brain in their academic journey for mastery of both English and Spanish curriculum.

Students will be able to experience the joy of personal expression using colors and textures.
