My Students

Do you remember the first time you painted? The first time you had the freedom to create anything you wanted. Your imagination is limitless!

I teach full time kindergarten at a full Title 1 school.

Most of my students did not attend preschool and this is their first experience with school. My students are such an amazing diverse group of students. They have already learned so much this year and have such potential to learn even more!

My Project

My students need a class set of Washable Watercolor paints and Liquid Tempera paints to create projects and pictures. My students will use these paints to create lots of different projects including projects that compliment what we are learning in class. Having their own sets of paints will teach them to take care of their supplies. They will also have freedom during choice time to paint anything they want and really use their imaginations!

Having these paints will let my students be able to use their creativity and create projects and pictures.

We currently only have a few sets of paints and students have to share. Having enough for each student will help teach them responsibility and how to take care of paints and use them correctly.
